Communication
Clear communication is maintained throughout the construction process with a dedicated project manager as the primary point of contact. Detailed documentation such as meeting minutes, RFI’s, and submittals ensures that our team members are in sync and prepared to provide innovative solutions to any eventuality.

Budget
By establishing realistic project budgets based on historic cost data, subcontractor input, and coordination with key suppliers, budget surprises are rare. Newbury’s dedicated fiduciary responsibility and “open book policy” guarantees consistent control of cost and value.

Cost Management
Project costs are closely monitored through comprehensive bid review and vendor negotiations. Where additional value can be added or alternative means and methods employed, we explore optional sources to maintain aggressive cost management.

Construction Management
Team meetings with key project members are held regularly from start to finish. We thoroughly review trade contractor and supplier qualifications and provide detailed mock-ups of key elements to help ensure that expectations will be met or exceeded. Thorough review of shop drawings, identification of long lead items, and delivery expediting are all key elements to maintaining effective construction management.

Quality Control
We consistently evaluate the quality of the work being done. By holding regular progress meetings, we address issues that might compromise the rigorous standards we require. Assembly areas and job sites comply with the highest safety standards. We ensure that finishes and materials are preserved in controlled environments until installation.

Final Project Documentation
At the end of a project, we provide our clients with complete documentation of their home and its required maintenance. As-built drawings are provided, along with a detailed and convenient home “manual” that includes all Original Equipment Manuals (OEM’s), routine maintenance checklists and schedules, and operational and seasonal shut-down/start-up methods. If desired, we can train your staff in the use and general upkeep of home systems.
